I really like this item. My only complaint is that it is a little squeaky but perhaps that will go away as it gets broken in. I tried oil and grease but it still squeaks on one side.
I have heard that the squat is the king of all exercises. Due to a chronic bad back I could never perform them properly. The powerline solves this problem extremely well. Make that painfully well. Your legs will hate you in the morning. The powerline is very easy to assemble and built with quality materials. Highly recommend!!
Let's be honest, you have two options, this or $1k on a full size leg press. I'm not sorry I chose the second option. The piece is very solid. While the posts have a little wobble as you're pushing the press up and down, nothing ever feels like it's out of control. The paint is terrible, as it is with all powerline products, and came chipped and scratched right out of the box. The paint bottle color was not even close, but that's really the only complaint I have. I've seen some complaints about lower back pain, and I've had none of that at all. A tight core, and proper form, and your back shouldn't feel anything. Remember, your legs are doing the work. As with my other reviews, I'll say that the reason I do business with Body-Solid and Fitness Factory is the outstanding customer service they consistently provide.
